I was at Vic's Coffee House (lower Level) for coffee and ice cream...delicious.

The owner and his daughter were wonderful and sweet. However, I purchased 4 sets of handmade candles plus a candle lighthouse to have shipped to my home in Ohio, as I was on vacation.

However, I am very disappointed as I have yet to receive my fully paid merchandise! It has been nearly two months, I have called repeatedly with no response.

Is the place still open? What happened. Please, I feel badly about losing $100 but the products were so beautiful, I was so excited to have them in my home.

Your pathetic attempts to mimic the humor of writers whose talent is far beyond your own is simply revolting. You have apparently hired a bunch of the same type of people who "review" other people's youtube videos with nasty comments. You lack humor, you lack subtlety, you lack originality. Even in the vast, seemingly endless sea of the Internet, your site is somehow taking up too much space. Its existence is an insult to anyone who has actually ever enjoyed a cafe. I hope that when you sit with your friends congratulating each other on your various witticisms, somewhere in the back of your minds each of you realize that you and all the work you put into this site amounts to less than a sack of feces thrown into a storm drain. The sad part is, for a small cafe with few reviews, your overly nasty reviews might actually do some damage. Do you like that feeling of power, you pathetic creature? Do you?

This is the worst cafe review site there is! There can be none worse. You should be ashamed of yourself. What a sad, sad person you are.

Just thought you should be informed that this Coffee House is now closed. There has been a sign about a new coffee shop in the window for several months, but it is unclear if there is to a new coffee shop in this same location, perhaps dropping the focus on the bridge theme and concentrating instead on the historic timber frame construction, or if Walnut Bridge Coffee House is instead reopening farther across the river, becoming a more self-reliant entity, suspended over the water, accessible only via catwalk, zip line, or monkey bridge.

Well, geez, there might be a coffee hang cool enough for this reviewer... but man, I'd never be allowed in the door. Go home dude and make your own.

For the record, I am some old white guy, but I would never try and write up a coffee shop without taking a minute to actually get in a dang conversation with some of the entities therein.

Greenline, Satellite, hey, if you're stuck in the wrong place, gimme a starbucks... it's all caffeine, gentlemen.

cheers

Les enfants!!! The new wing of the Doctor is already open. After being merely a sign pasted in the window only a week ago a fully appointed fetus-in-fetu is open through a still unfinished portal in the wall. Certainly this is not a thoughtful expansion. But that was never the Doctor's MO. The barista explained to me that "it is really easy to knock out a wall. Someone skilled can do it in like five hours."

The original Doctor was somewhat undercooked itself and took a few years to grow into the low-lit grandma's parlor that it is today. I expect a similar sedimentary process to occur in its new lobe. I just wish they hadn't moved my favorite chair into it before they got the lighting spot on.

I am both thrilled and terrified at the news I discovered tonight: Dr Bombay's is expanding to consume the former hair salon next door. More to come.
